Village

|
There are actually four distinct village areas, each with a distinct function. All are linked with complimentary shuttle bus service, walking and bike trails and can be accessed from the mountain ski out. All village areas are within about a five-minute taxi ride
from each other and are walking distance except for Creekside, which
is located about a 5-minute drive from the central village.
Whistler Village
Is located at the base of both mountains and has lifts to both as well as many
'famous' apres ski locations. 'Extreme' mountain bikers also access the
mountain from the lifts located at the Whistler Village base. The famous
'Longhorn Saloon' is located here for your apres pleasure.
This pedestrian friendly
village includes all types of great shopping and in all year in all
weather, crowds fill the restaurants, bistros and patios that line
the central walkways. This is also called the 'old village' as it
was the first phase to be built in 1980.
Day lot
parking for anything over 2 hours is available to the east of
the village and is accessed by driving to the end of village Gate
Blvd and then turning left onto Blackcomb Way and right into the lot
entrances. An alternate route is to drive on Hwy 99 to Lorimer Road,
turn right and follow Lorimer to Blackcomb Way, turn right and then
take your first left into the lot entrances.
Village North
Village North
is located to the north of the old village
and is accessed by entering it either via Village Gate Blvd and
then turning left onto Northlands Blvd, or can be accessed by turning right
onto Lorimer at the second set of village traffic lights on Highway
99. This area
